Jed graduated from the University of Manchester with a BA in Economics and Econometrics and subsequently obtained an MBA from Manchester Business School.

Elisabeth Bellamy

Following a law degree at Oxford University, Elisabeth qualified as a solicitor in 1987. She is usually just known as Lis.

Her early legal career included working for larger law firms in the UK and Singapore.

In 2001 Lis became the managing partner of a law practice in Chester. Lis brought the disciplines, standards and expertise learnt from her experience with leading law firms and applied them to managing a smaller and very successful practice. Over the next 11 years the business grew and successfully overcame some challenging business situations. This was achieved by taking an active approach to managing the business and with a determination to get the best out of all personnel.

Lis delivers the rare combination of the insight of an experienced legal fee-earner with many years of law firm management. For the last 3 years Lis has worked as a management consultant.

Lis was a member of the Law Society Professional Standards and Ethics Committee for 6 years and is a former Board Member of the Legal Ombudsmen. She is also a non-executive director of Archery GB

Elaine Simons

Elaine has over 30 years’ experience of business consultancy and training delivery.

After 10 years of senior management posts in the public and private sectors, including GKN and The British Airports Authority, she has developed EJS Marketing as a consultancy and training business since 1992.

Elaine has worked with graduate entrepreneurs who are establishing their own companies through the University of Salford. These training programmes and workshops include confidence building, business planning, marketing, networking and presentation skills, delivered through a Business Bootcamp programme.

She has delivered numerous business development/sales and marketing workshops, including a sales training programme on behalf of a north-west training organisation, the topics of which include: a winning mindset, consultative selling, the sales process and customer journey, negotiation, and retaining and growing the customer base. This programme was delivered to apprentices, owner-managers and senior managers of SME businesses.

Tim Smith

A highly regarded senior consultant with over 25 years of experience in selling, designing and delivering education and corporate training, coaching and consultancy.  Tim has developed a wide range of training for all levels to enhance numerous organisations. This has resulted in significant business growth, positive feedback and retained clients.

Tim has created and delivered over 70 tools and workshops to assist with business growth, innovation sales, marketing and leadership. He has collaborated with peer training designers; planned sessions to make the ‘complicated things simple’; helped delegates associate learning with the ‘real world’; experimented with conceptual workshops.

Performance highlights included 97% of delegates rating the training delivery as ‘excellent’ and numerous contracts being renewed.
